A: The rental price of Catamaran Ashanty per day is US$ 600.- for up to 4 people and US$ 800.- for up to 6 people! Arrangement for bigger groups with additional catamarans can be made.

Q: How many guests can sleep in the catamaran?

Q: Is there a minimum number of nights?
A: we do not charge by nights, we charge by days. Minimum stay is three days. (2 nights).

Q:When does a trip start and when does it end?
A: In the morning of the first booking day. The trip ends in the afternoon of the last sailing day.

Q: How many days would you recommend for a nice sailing?
A: I would recommend a minimum of 3 days, but some guests stay for two weeks....

Q: How do we come to San Blas and where do you usually depart from?
A: There are two possibilities to come to San Blas. You can take a 4x4 from PC and have an astonishing drive trough the jungle on the new road to Carti. This takes about 2 hours and I can help to make arrangements with a driver. This possibility does not exist at the moment. The new road is destroyed from heavy rain in November and will not reopen before April/May 2011
Or you can fly to El Porvenir or Nagana/Corazon see Air Panama.com
We will wait for you on the airfield!

There is also an option to take a lancha from Miramar to El Porvenir,

Q: Does your dinghy have an outboarder or do we have to paddle?

A:I have a 10 feet dinghy with Yamaha 15 HP engine.

Q: What is the best time of the year to do one of these sailings?
A: All Year around. San Blas is very good protected by a huge reef barrier. No waves and you are on a Catamaran!
More wind appears from Dec. until May.

Q: Food and beverages are included?
A: Yes, breakfast, lunch and dinner, softdrinks are included, alcoholic not.

Q: Do we have to make a reservation?
A: Recommended, usually I'm booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
